Active Pass Company Profile

03:29 EDT 24th June 2018 | BioPortfolio

Active Pass is developing treatments for the symptoms of infectious disease. Our first product targets severe secretory diarrhea. Diarrhea is often viewed as a 3rd world problem, but in North America and Europe the disease burden is also large. This includes severe diarrhea that arises from chemotherapy, AIDS-related diarrhea and diarrhea-dominant IBS. These chronic diarrheal conditions are large markets and existing therapies don't work. Imodium is the best known antidiarrheal on the market but it is not indicated for chronic use and simply doesn't work for severe diarrhea. Our lead product is clearing pre-clinical testing and scheduled to enter phase 1 in 2006.
