The Arlington Group was originally founded back in May 1997 with £50,000 of paid up capital. The Company has traditionally been a provider of bridge finance and working capital to a range of small to medium sized private and public businesses. Its strategy has been to invest its proprietary capital into a range of different growth and value companies and third party funds worldwide and to apply its in-house management expertise to developing the companies in which it has invested. As at September 30th 2005, the Group's consolidated, fully diluted net asset value (NAV) stood at £34.5m equating to a fully diluted NAV per share of 52.0p.
