BCG (Europe) Ltd Company Profile

20:22 EDT 24th June 2018 | BioPortfolio

The first few years of the new Millennium have been particularly difficult for Biotechnology companies, particularly those in the Biopharmaceutical sector.

Apart from the well recognised difficulties in acquiring funding, one of the major reasons for these companies failing to succeed is their poor understanding, and equally that of their funding partners, of the fundamental difference between Research and Development and of the specialist skills needed to support companies in the transition from "R to D". The effective management of this transition is critical to the whole commercialisation process for biopharmaceutical products.
