Guadalupe Valley Telecommunications Cooperative Company Profile

23:41 EDT 22nd March 2018 | BioPortfolio

Guadalupe Valley Telecommunications Cooperative (GVTC) has a rich history in telecommunications. It all began in 1951, when GVTC was first organized to bring telephone service to the rough Texas hill country north of San Antonio. Those pioneers fought hard to bring quality service to the sparsely populated region. Much of the initial funding for GVTC's early expansion was provided by loans from the Rural Utility Services (formerly the Rural Electrification Administration)
