Cal Sensors, Incorporated is the leading manufacturer of standard and customized lead selenide (PbSe) and lead sulfide (PbS) infrared detectors, infrared arrays, and infrared emitters. The detectors are sensitive in the 1-5.5 micron wavelength region and are used in spectroscopic, imaging, medical, automotive exhaust, gas detection and moisture analysis instruments, non-contact temperature measurement, flame detection and combustion control. The detectors are offered in standard or custom packages in single element, multi-color, and array configurations. Options include spectral filters, thermoelectric coolers, and temperature sensors. Cal Sensors steady-state and pulsable infrared emitters are offered in TO-8 and TO-5 packages. Incorporated in 1986, Cal Sensors developed proprietary processes improving detector performance and long-term reliability of packaged detectors and emitters through its packaging technology. The detectors are manufactured and packaged in Santa Rosa, California and distributed worldwide by representatives knowledgeable about the company products and applications.
