Michael A. Kalchman, B.Sc., (Genetics, Western Ontario), Ph.D. (Genetics, British Columbia) Dr. Kalchman attained his Bachelor's of Science (Genetics) from the University of Western Ontario, his Ph.D. (Genetics) from the University of British Columbia, and was a Post-doctoral scientist at the University of Toronto. His scientific expertise has many facets including: molecular biology; molecular biochemistry; bioinformatics; technology transfer; yeast two-hybrid and protein interaction technology; cellular biology and biochemistry; genomics. Dr. Kalchman has been an author on more than ten peer reviewed manuscripts that have appeared in top-notch scientific journals such as Nature, Nature Genetics, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Journal of Cell Biology, Human Molecular Genetics and Genomics. The focus of his research included neurodegenerative diseases such as Huntington Disease and Alzheimer's Disease.
