Droplet Technologies can help you optimize your spray operations and minimize off-target spray drift. Our approach typically starts with using the latest state-of-the-art swath deposition models to optimize aircraft and spray system configuration. This approach highlights possible problem areas such as errors in nozzle positioning or use of incorrect nozzle settings which can result in production of fine driftable droplets. This portion can be done at low cost as no field work is required (except for the customer to accurately measure the the nozzle positions in reference to the centerline of the aircraft). Subsequently, some field patterning experiments can be performed with the aircraft to verify the modeling and fine-tune the spray system. The Swath Kit and other suitable analytical methods are used at this stage.
