Dendritic NanoTechnologies Inc Company Profile

09:25 EST 22nd November 2017 | BioPortfolio

Dendritic NanoTechnologies Inc. (DNT) is the world’s leading developer and provider of advanced dendritic polymers. DNT has breakthrough technology that provides the vehicle — the targeting and delivery mechanisms — for a vast array of diagnostics and therapeutics currently in development in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.DNT is a U.S. company incorporated in 2003 and located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan on the campus of Central Michigan University (CMU). DNT is developing and commercializing dendrimers — a type of polymer. These new types of nanostructures (particles so small they allow us to build new structures, literally, atom-by-atom) hold great promise for real-world applications, such as biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. DNT's business strategies are based on a broad technology platform advanced by DNT's founder, Donald A. Tomalia, Ph.D. from his initial discovery of dendrimers in 1979.
