Fusion Antibodies Ltd Company Profile

08:26 EDT 26th September 2018 | BioPortfolio

Fusion, established in 2001 as a spin-out from Queen’s University Belfast, has won a host of awards for its leading-edge technology platform FET (Fusion Expression Technology). This enabling technology accelerates the validation of targets from DNA sequence through to recombinant protein expression. Fusion generates target specific antibodies from protein antigens with capability, through its antibody engineering know-how, to modify their characteristics to increase efficacy. These technologies and associated microbiological techniques, in addition to supporting Fusion’s own therapeutic and diagnostic R&D, are offered as a service to pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and academic researchers, allowing them to achieve their goals faster and more cost effectively. Fusion has expertise in producing specific antibodies for therapeutic, diagnostic and theranostic applications.
