Hunter-Fleming is an innovative pharmaceutical development company, specializing in the development of radically novel therapeutics relevant to the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory degenerative disorders - disorders with significant unmet medical needs. The Company’s initial focus is on neurodegenerative disorders of the central nervous system (CNS) and autoimmune disorders, areas in which the management has a proven track record in the successful development of novel compounds.Hunter-Fleming is building a broad, balanced portfolio of innovative development projects and technologies with leading academic groups and the pharmaceutical industry through licensing agreements, acquisitions, and in-house innovations which have already resulted in a proprietary series of 12 patent families.Through its access to enabling academic technologies, Hunter-Fleming has identified a potential for the design of novel second generation neuroprotective compounds. Hunter-Fleming has also established a joint venture (Hunter-Oncology Ltd) with Queen's University (Belfast) Cancer Centre to develop novel, innovative anti-cancer agents.
