Ageing is a multifactorial process controlled by both environmental and genetic factors. We'd like to understand how some people manage to avoid the diseases of the ageing, so that we may help others who may not have a natural advantage to do the same. Our research groups cover a broad expertise in molecular and cellular biology, structural biology, bioinformatics, biophysics, biochemistry, genomics and animal research. The combined effort of our groups, in cooperation with our academic and industry partners, allows to address the question of ageing and disease mechanisms on a molecular, cellular and organismic level
