Lake Region was founded in 1947 and has since been setting the precedent for excellence in contract and OEM manufacturing of minimally invasive medical devices. Joseph Fleischhacker, Sr.'s vision for the company was that of an enterprise of manufacturing excellence and technology, one that provided customers with exceptional product quality and service at a fair price. Today, his family continues this vision.
To serve the global medical device market, Lake Region has facilities in Minnesota, USA and County Wexford, Ireland. In addition to a full staff of typical manufacturing-related personnel, Lake Region also employs an experienced staff of Product Development, Manufacturing, Tool Design, Quality Assurance and Industrial Engineers, Regulatory Compliance personnel and Technical Sales Specialists.

Lake Region is uniquely both a Contract and OEM Manufacturer, providing customers with a comprehensive line of "market-ready" 510(k) registered products, technical information to support customer technical files and/or design dossiers for CE Marking purposes, and patented product designs and technologies.
