06:55 EDT 19th June 2018 | BioPortfolio

The Company was founded in April 1997 by Robert Rosenbluth and Brian Cox and incorporated as MicroVention, Inc. in September. MicroVention established the strategic objective of developing and marketing medical devices, which will enable or significantly improve the treatment of diseases in small vessels. After development of early concepts and prototypes of devices for the treatment of acute embolic stroke and embolization of cerebral aneurysms, the company narrowed its focus to aneurysm therapy.
