With 978 open-heart procedures and 7,088 diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations performed in 2003, our cardiac surgery program is the most active in South Florida. Mount Sinai & Miami Heart is the only Miami-Dade hospital named in the Solucient 100 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals, a national survey that identifies hospitals with superior performance in cardiac care.
