TNO Quality of Life Company Profile

As from 1st January 2005 TNO now consists of five core areas instead of fifteen institutes. This has resulted in a greater critical mass and TNO is now better able to tackle the important social issues.Under the heading ‘Quality of Life’, TNO carries out research aimed at providing concrete solutions to problems encountered by industry and government bodies. TNO develops knowledge for important national and international market clusters such as ‘Agriculture and Nutrition’ and ‘Chemistry and Pharmaceutics’. Additionally TNO is an important partner for the government and public sectors in the area of (health) care and employment issues.
TNO Quality of Life can be divided into six areas of activity:
