The mission of Cancer Support Community North Texas (formerly Gilda’s Club) is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. The innovative program offered at Cancer Support Community North Texas is an essential complement to medical care, providing networking groups, workshops, education and social activities. Free of charge and nonprofit, it is a place where people learn how to live with cancer, whatever the outcome. The Cancer Support Community North Texas Affiliate Network provides high-quality psychological and social support through a network of nearly 50 local affiliates, more than 100 satellite locations, 24/7 online support and social networking, and an institute dedicated to research and training.
