07:16 EDT 22nd June 2018 | BioPortfolio

OJ-Bio has a unique biosensor platform for real time diagnostic devices that detect diseases and monitor their progression or response to therapy.

Point of care diagnostic devices developed from this platform will use proven components, be easy to use, have inbuilt wireless connectivity and be suitable for large scale production. They will therefore have many applications in real-time diagnostics, mobile diagnostics, remote monitoring and near-patient diagnostic use.

What makes OJ-Bio's diagnostic tools different?

  • OJ-Bio's platform is well developed and a range of working device, reader and sensor-chip prototypes are available to clients, along with model systems and demonstration assays for sample matrices such as whole blood, serum/plasma, urine and nasal swab material.
  • OJ-Bio are already in clinical studies for HIV, respiratory viruses and periodontal gum disease - and there are many other point of care diagnostic applications our clients can choose.
  • OJ-Bio own the intellectual property and can provide technology support and product development to clinical trial.
  • OJ-Bio can provide manufacturing facilities for trial batch, process optimisation, or full-scale mass manufacture of the diagnostic device or components, if needed.
  • OJ-Bio's technology is suitable for home diagnostics, consumer diagnostics and mobile or point of care diagnostics.

Antibody-antigen combinations from existing tests can be readily adopted - so we are happy to hear from organisations who wish to partner or licence our technology for any area of immunoassay-based diagnostics.
