The Authors Guild is the oldest and largest society of published book authors in the US, celebrating the 100th anniversary of its first membership meeting this spring. Summary judgment motions will be heard by Judge Denny Chin in Manhattan on Monday. Plaintiffs seek to represent US authors of the books Google scanned.
