The Foundation of the National Lipid Association Company Profile

Founded in 2002, the 3,000 members of the National Lipid Association — a nonprofit, multidisciplinary medical society focused on enhancing the practice of lipid management in clinical medicine — share a common goal: to enhance the practice of lipid management in clinical medicine and to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with atherosclerotic disease. The FNLA supports patient and clinician educational, research and community outreach activities that enhance and support the initiatives of the National Lipid Association in its efforts to reduce cardiovascular events and deaths related to abnormalities of cholesterol metabolism.
