Paris, France – January 5th, 2015 – Life sciences outsourcing and consulting services specialist ProductLife Group (PLG) has announced another strategic senior management appointment as part of its continued international growth plans. Werner Stilmant has joined the group as General Manager of ProductLife Group Belgium and Germany.

Werner brings broad experience to the role, from his years in clinical research, business process management, outsourcing and consulting. He started out in the life sciences industry as a clinical researcher before moving into the distribution and supply chain side of the business. In each of his managerial roles to date, Werner has applied his knowledge of lean concepts to improving and streamlining business processes.

His experience in leading both small and large groups gives him the flexibility and people management skills needed to manage PLG’s diverse and highly skilled teams in Belgium and Germany, according to Adam Sherlock, the group’s Chief Executive Officer. Werner will draw on his experiences within pharma, contract research organisations (CROs), and as a consultant to help his team optimise their talent pools.

“Werner’s diplomatic and open communication style is well suited to the PLG culture and will serve to underscore our company’s commitment to building new business opportunities, enhancing our market footprint, and further integrating our core regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and quality capabilities. He is a very welcome addition to the senior team,” Adam said.

The appointment of a new general manager for Belgium and Germany is the latest in a series of high-profile leadership changes at PLG - designed to reinforce the top team as the group advances its plans to expand deeper into Europe and to penetrate new markets. Other recent changes have included a separation of the roles of Chairman and CEO.
