AlixPartners Announces Senior Appointment in Enterprise Improvement

NEW YORK , N.Y., June 1, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AlixPartners, the global advisory firm, today announced that Sanjay Ramaswamy has joined the firm as a Managing Director in the Enterprise Improvement practice, where he will focus on serving clients in the pharmaceutical and retail sectors. He will be based in AlixPartners' New York office.

Mr. Ramaswamy's background includes extensive experience in performance and operational transformation and technology implementation, and he brings deep experience in leading and implementing global operations and analytics systems.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Mr. Ramaswamy was a global vice president of enterprise business systems and analytics at Johnson & Johnson, where he led a global strategic program to simplify and standardize core transactional processes, data, and systems that delivered billions in savings over seven years. His previous position was vice president and global CIO, supply chain.

Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Ramaswamy was a partner at McKinsey & Company in Chicago and New Jersey. There, he led several large-scale performance improvement engagements in the retail and pharmaceutical industries.

Mr. Ramaswamy holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering in Guindy in Chennai, India, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Pennsylvania State University, in State College, PA.
