TORONTO, ON, June 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- High-quality education is an important aspect of any profession. Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, and LOGiQ3, an expert provider of life insurance, reinsurance and financial services, are excited to announce their partnership in the deposit broker education space.
Advocis will be the sole distributor of the Deposit Broker Annual Compliance Attestation (ACA) and the Deposit Broker Anti-Money Laundering E-Learning course (AML). These are two of the three components of the A3 Solution for the Deposit Broker Distribution Channel that was developed by LOGiQ3 in an effort to increase standards and reduce risk.
"I've been working closely with LOGiQ3 as part of the APEXA initiative," says Greg Pollock, President and CEO of Advocis. APEXA is an industry-led solution with the goal of bringing higher standardization, clarity, timeliness, and efficiency to contracting and compliance for Managing General Agencies (MGAs), insurance companies and related stakeholders. "I'm excited by our partnership and impressed by the initiative taken to develop this industry solution."
Chris Murumets, Co-Founder of LOGiQ3 comments, "Today, financial institutions are solely responsible for effectively managing their contracted deposit brokers to ensure they are meeting regulatory requirements and contractual obligations. Similar to APEXA, we created the A3 solution to lessen risk exposure." Chris continues, "Through our partnership with Advocis and in leveraging their well-developed relationships with financial advisors and planners, the ACA and AML solutions will reach the masses."
