Freedman Chiropractic Center, LLC Raises Awareness of Good Health and Peak Performance Thanks to Chiropractic Care in the 2015 Masters Tournament

20:00 EDT 6 Jun 2015 | Globe Newswire

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J., June 7, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spring has sprung and summer quickly approaches. At the season heats up, golfers often come out of the woodwork, enjoying a day in the sun and working to perfect their game. D. Ken Freedman of Freedman Chiropractic Center, LLC believes this is an important time of year to open discussions about the benefits chiropractic care have to offer golfers by sharing the relationship between chiropractic care and the 2015 Masters Tournament winner Jordan Spieth.

2015 Masters Tournament winner Jordan Spieth is somewhat unique in the world of former winners of this August sporting championship. At 21 years and eight months of age, Spieth is the second youngest winner in the history of the tournament. He also happens to have tied the lowest score in tournament history finishing the tournament 18 under par – a record that has stood since Tiger Woods finished the 1997 Masters Tournament with the same score.

After winning the tournament, Spieth recognized those who made significant contributions to his win, including his chiropractor, Dr. Troy Van Biezen of Dallas, Texas. Spieth has actively relied upon the use of chiropractic care to not only treat injuries that did occur, but also to prevent injuries and improve his overall health and wellbeing along with his performance as an athlete.

"With nearly four out of every five golfers experiencing back pain resulting from repetitive swing at some point in their careers, it's a wise plan for all golfers to take preventative action to avoid injury through chiropractic care," advises Dr. Ken Freedman, of Freedman Chiropractic Center, LLC, in East Brunswick, NJ.

Golfers at all levels of play, and not just those headed for the Masters, are encouraged to consider the benefit of chiropractic care. In addition to helping relieve back pain after injuries have occurred, it helps to help prevent injuries through proper alignment and swing execution. "Many golfers," says Dr. Freedman, "are surprised to learn that routine visits to the chiropractor can result in substantial improvements in performance on the golf course and a lower score."

As far as Jordan Spieth is concerned, his routine chiropractic care was instrumental in not only his peak performance at the Masters, but also in his overall good health.

"Golfers don't have to be traveling with the pro tour in order to have the same back-saving benefits Spieth has at his disposal," says Dr. Freedman. "Freedman Chiropractic Center, LLC offers convenient evening and Saturday hours to accommodate the busy schedules of New Jersey golfers."
