LOS ANGELES, July 24, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Blow & Drive Interlock (OTCQB:BDIC) receives Oregon Department of Motor Vehicle approval to provide Alcohol Ignition Interlock Devices and Monitoring for IGNITION INTERLOCK MANDATED DUI/DWI OFFENDERS throughout the state. Oregon will join California as the second state to approve the BDI-747 INTERLOCK since the company's NHTSA Lab Certification on June 17th 2015.
Oregon has adopted in-car camera technology as a requirement for state approval. The in-car camera feature is just one of several anti-circumvention features found on the BDI-747 to ensure sober driving while interlocked. With Seven other applications pending state approval "Blow & Drive's long term goal is to be one of the largest service providers of interlocks in the nation". The BDI-747 IGNITION INTERLOCK DEVICE has a color camera that snaps an image of a person blowing into the interlock to insure the DUI/DWI offender is the person blowing into the device. The BDI-747 Interlock has been added to the OREGON DMV's internet listing for approved devices. Likewise, the installation locations for Blow & Drive Interlock have been added to the Oregon DMV's approved list of ignition interlock installers.

Blow & Drive Interlock Corp (BDIC) based in Los Angeles, California, is a publicly traded company that plans to manufacture, distribute, and lease its' Ignition Interlock Device Model# BDI-747 across the United States.
The BDI-747 is a state of the art ignition interlock device, breath-alcohol testing device approximately the size of a smartphone. The ignition interlock device requires the driver to exhale into the device prior to starting the vehicle. The device will prevent the vehicle from starting if the driver's blood-alcohol content exceeds a predetermined set level. Interlocks may be required for use by DUI or DWI ("driving under the influence" or "driving while intoxicated") offenders as part of their mandatory court or motor vehicle department program.
The individual subject to the court or motor vehicle order pays for the installation/removal and monthly lease of the ignition interlock device. The Company will provide monitoring of the device at predetermined intervals according to state guidelines. Data will be collected and made available to the appropriate authorities for review. The data will show all breath tests performed and/or missed tests as well as any attempt to bypass or circumvent the system.
