(“LifeLock” or the “Company”) (NYSE:LOCK) securities during the period between July 30, 2014 and July 20, 2015, inclusive (the “Class Period”).  Investors who wish to become proactively involved in the litigation have until September 21, 2015 to seek appointment as lead plaintiff.

The complaint accuses the defendants of violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by virtue of the defendants’ failure to disclose during the Class Period that the Company was not in compliance with the recordkeeping requirements of its 2010 settlement (“2010 Settlement”) with the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”), that the Company had failed to establish and maintain a comprehensive information security program to protect its users’ personal data, and that the Company falsely advertised that it protected its users’ data with the same high-level safeguards as financial institutions.

According to the complaint, following the FTC’s announcement that LifeLock violated the 2010 Settlement and 35 state attorneys general by continuing to make deceptive claims about its identity theft protection services and by failing to take steps required to protect its users’ data, the value of LifeLock’s shares declined significantly.
