NEW YORK, Aug. 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. magazine has named MASS Communications for the third consecutive year to its annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The Inc. list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.
The New York-based telecom company has grown rapidly in its eight years in business, offering a new service standard in the telecommunications industry. The Company brings an impressive array of telecom service and engineering expertise. With an International footprint, MASS offers reliable voice, data, risk management, and security solutions to optimize client’s networks, and have built a track record for working with multiple carriers to give their clients the most robust, redundant networking solution.
“To be able to sustain this level of growth for the third year in a row is most rewarding for me personally because of the hard work of our employees,” says Marc Gold, President and COO, MASS Communications. “We’ve revamped our processes, procedures, and systems, hired top-tier talent, and continue to train and challenge our team.”
The firm continues to add new customers from a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, services, technology, entertainment distribution, and government.
“We listen to our customers’ needs, architect the right infrastructure to support their growth, and serve as the single point of contact for monitoring and support,” says Darren Mass, CEO.
“The types of customers we are now serving have multi-site locations, have a very high need for uptime, and truly see us as a partner in the telecommunications arena and not just a vendor,” adds Gold.
David L. Schwed, General Counsel and CIO, says MASS’s implementation of Salesforce.com has been a major boost to the company’s operational efficiencies. “The organization we are building is well positioned to support a much larger customer base. Combined with our new service offerings and the innovation of our team, the future has never been brighter for our business.”
The 2015 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2014. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2011 is $100,000; the minimum for 2014 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.'s September issue.
