Covington Homes raises funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) March 08, 2017

On Friday, March 24, Covington Homes, a homebuilder that believes in giving back to community, will be hosting a VIP fundraiser to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event will take place at The Pinery at the Hill, 775 W. Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, CO, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $75 and must be purchased in advance due to limited seating.

“Service and caring has always been a part of Covington Homes’ culture and last year we made a long-term commitment to partner with St. Jude to build a home for the St. Jude’s Dream Home Giveaway,” said Covington Homes Realtor Lenka Martin. “Together we raised a record-breaking $812,000 for pediatric cancer research and treatment, and plan on raising even more year after year.”

St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment, travel, or stay at the facility. Its ground-breaking discoveries over the years have improved survival rates for childhood cancer from 20% to 80%, and since St. Jude also shares their research freely with doctors and hospitals around the world, they are helping advance cures for cancer patients everywhere.

To further support St. Jude, Covington Homes is also organizing team fundraising, volunteer days at the Dream Home, and encouraging people to purchase tickets for the St Jude Dream Home Giveaway, which will be available March 29, 2017, and can be purchased at https://www.stjude.org/give/dream-home/colorado-springs.html.
