Health care professionals have until this Thursday, June 22, at 11:59 p.m. PST to join the AAFP, American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and other medical organizations in providing comments on the Women’s Preventive Services Guidelines draft recommendations for gestational diabetes screening, according to the AAFP. “The recommendations, if adopted by [Health Resources and Services Administration], will help ensure that women receive a comprehensive set of preventive services without having to pay a co-payment, co-insurance or deductible,” the Women’s Preventive Services Initiative website states.
