MADRID — A new multibiomarker disease test, in combination with clinical measures, may be effective in predicting joint damage in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, according to data presented at the EULAR Annual Congress.“This meta-analysis of six cohorts was done to demonstrate the relationship between the Vectra DA score [(Crescendo Bioscience] and risk for radiographic progression,” Eric Sasso, MD, vice president of Medical and Scientific Affairs at Crescendo Bioscience, told Healio Rheumatology. “The study included more than 800 patients with [rheumatoid arthritis] RA who received conventional [disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs] DMARDs alone or with adalimumab, infliximab or abatacept.”
