UTA's Kyle O'Connell receives prestigious NSF doctoral dissertation grant

(University of Texas at Arlington) Kyle O'Connell, a fifth-year Ph.D. student in biology, was selected to receive funds from the National Science Foundation's Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grants program, which typically awards funding to between 100 and 200 projects nationwide each year. O'Connell's faculty advisor is Matt Fujita, assistant professor of biology.
