The Specialist Institute

The Specialist Institute is a unique education continuum designed to help referral based specialty practices thrive in today’s competitive dental implant market. The first session of the 2017 continuum will be held September 15–17 in Naples, FL.

The mission of the Specialist Institute is to facilitate unparalleled dental implant practice growth while improving patient outcomes. The Institute addresses the fact that most practices are not limited by clinical competency. According to Dr. Mark Setter, Periodontist and co-founder of the Specialist Institute, “There are numerous courses that can teach you to be better at placing implants. The Specialist Institute focuses on helping you place more implants. By demonstrating proven techniques in areas like case acceptance, referral communications and staff empowerment, we help surgical practices and their referring doctors grow together.”

Co-presented by Dr. Setter and Dr. Kanyon Keeney (OMS), the Specialist Institute will present two fall sessions at the Naples Grande Beach Resort. The first session, presented September 15-17, is recommended for clinicians only and will focus on building a foundation of proven leadership skills and customer service excellence, leading into referral management systems and referral marketing. Session two, presented October 14-15, invites clinicians and their staff to engage in topics such as team development, customer satisfaction and establishing communication to enhance the patient experience. Continuing education credit will be provided for all sessions.
