A new method accelerates the mapping of genes in the 'Dark Matter' of our DNA

(Center for Genomic Regulation) Scientists at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona, have developed a new method, which improved the most important catalogue of genes -GENCODE-, including characterization of new genes in the DNA "Dark Matter". Their new method, published today in Nature Genetics, offers a way of mapping genes in a more accurate, faster and cheaper way.
