Following the approval of all regulatory instances, German specialty chemicals producer Lanxess has successfully completed its acquisition of Solvay’s €65 million phosphorus chemicals business, including the Belgian group’s US production site at Charleston, South Carolina. The business’s transfer was agreed in November 2017.
