Horn was responsible for global management and oversight of operational, support and control functions for the firm’s investment business. He was also a member of the Management Committee, and chairman of the Valuation Committee. Prior to joining Elliott, Horn spent 16 years at Merrill Lynch; over the course of his tenure, he served as global head of leveraged finance, head of Latin America debt, and chief of staff to the chairman and president. He is the founder and managing member of Loring Capital Advisors, LLC, which provides investment advisory and consulting services to a variety of funds, investment managers, startup companies and high net worth individuals.

Horn serves on the Board of Directors of Empire Resorts, Inc. (ticker: NYNY), a public holding company which owns and operates Resorts World Catskills through a subsidiary. He also serves on the Board of Directors of ShopOne Centers REIT, Inc., a leading owner, operator and manager of high-quality shopping centers. “We are proud to add Keith to Stillwater’s board of directors. He will play a crucial role in helping shore up our controls and governance as we prepare for the next phase of our company’s growth,” said Justin Singer, Stillwater CEO. “A growing number of ‘mainstream’ brands are poised to enter the cannabinoid arena, and we know there is ongoing potential to partner with them. Our mission is to help established brands enter the hemp-derived cannabinoid market without sacrificing product quality or brand equity. We believe Keith will prove instrumental in helping us continue to be the sort of reliable, intelligent and careful partner with which quality-focused manufacturers want to work.”

“I’m thrilled to formally join the board of a company I’ve watched grow from just an idea to something much greater,” said Horn. “With relentless focus and execution, Stillwater has positioned itself as the leader in the production of standardized soluble cannabinoids for use in food, beverage and cosmetics manufacturing. The team is second to none in its food science and manufacturing expertise. I’m excited to help the company reach its vast potential.”

About Stillwater

Stillwater is a functional foods company specializing in the processing, manufacturing, and distribution of soluble cannabinoid-infused consumer packaged goods and specialty ingredients. The company’s business-to-consumer arm, Stillwater Brands, produces some of Colorado’s leading THC- and CBD-infused edibles, including Ripple dissolvable cannabinoids, Stillwater Tea, Whitewater Tea, and Clockwork Coffee. Its business-to-business arm, Stillwater Ingredients, manufactures RIPPLE SC (Soluble Cannabinoids), a suite of standardized, clean-label, shelf-stable formulations of isolated cannabinoids that mix easily into wet or dry food systems, withstanding standard commercial food processes and temperatures. RIPPLE SC allows manufacturers to simply and easily introduce fast-acting, water-soluble cannabinoids into any food environment using standard commercial kitchen or food production equipment with no noticeable impact on flavor, consistency, texture, or appearance – no specialized knowledge or processing required. Backed by service, supported by execution, and designed for scale, RIPPLE SC turns cannabinoids into just another standard ingredient, allowing brands to spend their time and money on what they do best.
