Gossamer Bio Announces Closing of Initial Public Offering and Full Exercise of Underwriters’ Option to Purchase Additional Shares

Gossamer Bio, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOSS), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, acquiring, developing and commercializing therapeutics in the disease areas of immunology, inflammation and oncology, today announced the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 19,837,500 shares of its common stock, which includes the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase 2,587,500 additional shares, at a price to the public of $16.00 per share. Including the option exercise, the aggregate gross proceeds to Gossamer Bio from the offering, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, were $317.4 million. Gossamer Bio’s common stock is listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol “GOSS.”

BofA Merrill Lynch, SVB Leerink, Barclays and Evercore ISI acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
