Ricardo J. Quintero-Herencia, M.D. is a board certified Oncologist that brings over 25 years of medical experience to The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation.

Dr. Ricardo J. Quintero-Herencia graduated Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico; School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency from San Juan VA Medical Center and fellowship in a combined Hematology/Oncology program, San Juan City Hospital-San Juan VA Medical Center. He has multiple publications and has completed several teaching appointments. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr. Ricardo J. Quintero-Herencia believes that an important aspect of cancer treatment is compassion and respect for each of his patients. He believes in having a strong line of communication with his patients and their loved ones. He is highly sensitive to the religious, cultural and personal values of his patients.
