New End-to-End Platform Integrates Patient Insights, UGC-Style Content and Influencer-Driven Social Media Campaigns


In an effort to close the gap between consumer enthusiasm towards digital health technologies and real-world adoption, WEGO Health announced today the launch of an industry-first service that bundles together consumer insights, consumer-driven content creation, and influencer-driven social media marketing. The announcement coincided with the opening of Digital Health for Pharma, a two-day conference in Philadelphia for senior leaders and innovators in the biopharma industry.

WEGO Health’s new offering is specifically designed to streamline and de-risk the execution of high-impact consumer initiatives by leveraging patient advocates and influencers across the campaign lifecycle. It is intended to work in tandem with pharma teams and their strategic partners to bring to market digital health solutions that can support health and wellness initiatives “beyond the pill.”

The second component is a new virtual “Content Studio,” developed to support the creation of original, patient-driven content such as short-form videos, social posts, interactive Q&A, and blogs. “The Content Studio is where patient insights come to life,” said Goldsmith. “It’s where pharma teams work hand-in-hand with patient advocates who bring authenticity and real-world experience into their messaging and marketing campaigns.”

The final component is an “Activation Engine” that combines proprietary WEGO Health data with social media promotion strategies to activate patients where they are, on leading platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
