Independent agency announces its third brow-raising hire in two months, furthering bolstering its bench and supporting explosive growth
Klick Health today announced that Daniel Drexler, M.D., has joined the company as a Managing Director as the independent agency continues to grow at an unprecedented rate.
Drexler is the third senior network agency executive to move to Klick in two months. Former FCB creative powerhouse Rich Levy and MDC media and marketing executive Dave Leitner recently joined Klick as Chief Creative Officer and Senior Vice President of Media, respectively.
“We’re overjoyed by the reaction we’re receiving from industry leaders, like Dan, who want to join Klick on our relentless pursuit of awesome and help our clients find new ways to enhance health outcomes,” said Klick President Lori Grant. “Dan is a natural fit for Klick with his combined medical and business backgrounds, his passion for technology, and his empathetic yet driven disposition, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Klick family.”
“The future of health is all about understanding people and Klick’s culture is genuinely all about putting people first, said Drexler. “If we are going to transform how people get well and, even more importantly, how they stay well to live their best lives, we have to start with empathy and insight, and translate this into motivating and effective action. This sums up Klick’s DNA. It’s inspiring and I am incredibly excited to help expand their authentic vision.”
In addition to having a medical degree, Drexler has over 15 years of health marketing experience working across client service, strategy, and general management. His experience spans multiple disciplines, including consumer, digital, med ed, and professional. Most recently, he served as the CEO and Founder of "The Neighborhood", a WPP company whose anchor client was Johnson & Johnson and whose model was adapted for a range of diverse clients, including Alphabet’s Verily, and Platinum Equity’s Lifescan.
Today’s announcement is a testament to Klick’s phenomenal growth trajectory as the independent hypergrowth agency continues to build on its technology and innovation roots and set the pace of the industry. Klick was named 2018 Agency of the Year by MM&M and was ranked #1 in the magazine’s Agency 100. In April, Klick debuted its Adaptive Brand Playbook, the agency’s proven approach of modern best practices that help life sciences brands achieve their full market potential.
