Early-career researchers with interesting discoveries to share are invited to nominate for Fresh Science — a national competition that helps researchers find the key, compelling ‘story’ in their work and then puts them in the spotlight, showcasing them to the public and the media.
The program takes up-and-coming researchers with no media experience and turns them into spokespeople for science, giving them a taste of life in the limelight, with a day of media training and a public event in their home state. Fresh Science 2019 will run in Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Victoria, the ACT and NSW.
