Expanded collaboration between two leading health technology companies further illustrates market demand for integrated virtual care solutions
InTouch Health, ranked 2019 Best in KLAS for Virtual Care Platforms, and GE Healthcare today announced an agreement to embed InTouch Health’s virtual communication capabilities within Mural, GE Healthcare’s recently launched virtual care solution. Mural supports various virtual care models by aggregating, synchronizing and displaying application data from multiple sources across care areas.
“By embedding InTouch’s virtual presence communications capabilities into Mural, we further enhance the strength of our virtual care solution,” said GE Healthcare Clinical Care Solutions Chief Technology Officer, Vivek Bhatt. “Our work with InTouch allows us to provide care teams with the capability of virtual presence and further enhance real-time patient information.”
The agreement expands the current collaboration on GE Healthcare’s Digital Expert where InTouch Health’s telehealth software enables experts to deliver interactive and personalized training to customers on a variety of GE Healthcare products. Digital Expert has seen great success globally and has been able to scale tremendously using InTouch Health’s capabilities.
“We have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with GE Healthcare, and we are thrilled that the success of the Digital Expert program has now extended to enabling virtual care,” said Joseph M. DeVivo, InTouch Health CEO. “Our platform delivers the ability to scale from low-acuity, real-time video consults to enabling remote acute care interactions.”
