Loading control antibodies are important for ensuring data reliability, used in western blotting experiments to provide a reference for the quantity of protein loaded and migration across the gel. Typically, loading control targets are proteins with high and ubiquitous expression, such as beta-actin or GADPH and usually proteins with a preserved sequence across many species.
