Federal funding targets critical need in disability education

(University of Arizona) Nearly $2.5 million in grants from the US Department of Education will help the University of Arizona Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies address critical needs in disability education. The funding will help train dozens of students to be educational interpreters, rehabilitation counselors and teachers of students with visual impairments.
