Intended to help human, planetary health, EAT-Lancet diet too costly for 1.6 billion people

(Tufts University, Health Sciences Campus) A new study estimates that the Eat-Lancet Commission reference diet -- meant to improve both human and planetary health -- would be unaffordable for at least 1.58 billion people, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. The study is published today in The Lancet Global Health.
