Scientists at the Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmaceutical Sciences report the creation of a model of myocardial infarction using cardiomyocytes differentiated from human induced pluripotent stem cells. This model is expected to contribute to the development of new heart disease therapies.
