(Children's National Hospital) Adolescents with Type 2 diabetes experienced more hyperfiltration and earlier attenuation of their elevated urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio after gastric bypass surgery compared with adults, according to research presented during the American Society of Nephrology's Kidney Week 2019.
