(Wayne State University - Office of the Vice President for Research) With the help of a $1.7 million grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases of the National Institutes of Health, a team of researchers in Wayne State's College of Engineering will explore ways to address the urgent need for a safe and efficient oral delivery technology to enhance treatment of diabetes.
