BULK CARBON DIOXIDE USP CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS This is to certify that the carbon dioxide produced at ______________________ on ______________________ meets the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) specifications, the requirements of Federal Specifications BB-C-101 Grade A and QVL E of CGA G6.2. This product was manufactured at a facility registered with the Federal Food and Drug Administration and is approved for prescription drug use. This product is not guaranteed to meet any other specification or intended for pesticide use. Furthermore, batch number ______________________ and lot number ______________________, which was loaded on ______________________and filled at ______________________, comprises this shipment and was analyzed as shown below. Analytical results are generated using USP monograph or validated equivalent methods.

Note: 1) Positive Carbon Dioxide Identification is achieved when the Assay results demonstrate meeting the specification.2) The limit of detection (LOD) for each test method is the threshold value for results to be reported with certainty in the accuracy of results. A test result outside the detection limit for the test method will be reported as ND.3) ND=None Detected4)ppm= parts per million by volume, ppb=parts per billion by volume, 1ppm=1,000 ppb5) HS, SO, and other sulfur species are included in the total sulfur amount Product analyzed using Linde Premier Guard Analysis suite Analyst____________________________________________  Date: __________________________________ Reviewed and released by:____________________________  Date: __________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________ 6.0 September 2017CO2-22-06-RNA-Medical Gas USP ProceduresPage 1 of 1Retention Period - 3 yearsCopyright © The Linde Group - Distributed by a locally registered Linde company

The Cyclocapnic Method for Measurement of Chemosensitivity

We aim to test our method for measuring chemosensitivity (the ventilatory response to a change in carbon dioxide), which uses sinusoidal carbon dioxide stimuli. Hypotheses: - Ca...

Carbon Dioxide Insufflation Colonoscopy in IBD Patients

Carbon dioxide insufflation during colonoscopy significantly reduces discomfort (pain, bloating and flatulence) after the procedure. So far, it has not been studied in inflammatory bowel d...

Carbon Dioxide Insufflation on Cerebral Microemboli

The purpose of this study is to determine if blowing carbon dioxide into the surgical field during open-heart surgery to displace retained chest cavity air from the atmosphere will decreas...

Prospective, Non-Randomized Evaluation of Carbon Dioxide Gas as a Contrast Agent in Comparison With Iodinated Contrast in Endovascular Aneurysm Repair

Endovascular repair of infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) requires a contrast agent to identify the vascular anatomy and placement of the stent graft. Iodine contrast has traditi...

Effect of Patient Position on Arterial, End-tidal and Transcutaneous Carbon Dioxide

Investigators evaluate the effect of patient position (Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg) on arterial, end-tidal and transcutaneous carbon dioxide partial pressure in patients underg...

Effects of L-Menthol and Carbon Dioxide on the Adenoma Detection Rate during Colonoscopy: L-Menthol and Carbon Dioxide on Colonoscopy.

We examined the efficacy of the combined use of L-menthol spraying (L-mentholS) as an antispasmodic agent and carbon dioxide insufflation (CO2I) on the adenoma detection rate (ADR) in a prospective, s...

Does California's Low Carbon Fuel Standards reduce carbon dioxide emissions?

The Low Carbon Fuel Standards (LCFS) represents a new policy approach designed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by applying standards to all stages of motor fuel production. We use the synthetic con...

Identification of a unique VUV photoabsorption band of carbonic acid for its identification in radiation and thermally processed water-carbon dioxide ices.

Carbonic acid was synthesized within an ice containing water and carbon dioxide by irradiation of ~9 eV photons. Vacuum UltraViolet (VUV)/UltraViolet (UV) photoabsorption spectra of the irradiated i...

Selective electroreduction of carbon dioxide to methanol on copper selenide nanocatalysts.

Production of methanol from electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide is very attractive. However, achieving high Faradaic efficiency with high current density using facile prepared catalysts remain...

Peptide nanotube for carbon dioxide chemisorption with regeneration properties and water compatibility.

A solid peptide nanotube material based on the self-assembled heptapeptide Ac-KLVFFAL-NH2 (KL-7) was demonstrated to be capable of selective chemisorption of carbon dioxide. The selective adsorption r...
