Cervical spondylosis and cervical disk herniation are the most frequent forms of degenerative disease in the cervical spine. Surgical treatment mainly includes anterior cervical disk fusion. However, information concerning vestibular-evoked myogenic potential (VEMP) recording in patients undergoing cervical spine surgery is limited. The present prospective study aimed to investigate the effect of anterior disk fusion surgery on cervical VEMP (cVEMP) parameters.

Comparison of the adverse events of anterior cervical disc replacement versus anterior cervical discectomy and fusion: A protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis of prospective randomized controlled trials.
In the current surgical therapeutic regimen for symptomatic cervical degenerative disc disease, both anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) and anterior cervical disc replacement (ACDR) are st...
The aim of this study was to analyze rates of perioperative complications and subsequent cervical surgeries in patients treated for cervical degenerative disc disease with anterior cervical discectomy...
Anterior endoscopic techniques in cervical disc were found to be effective and safe. We report our experience of 210 patients of endoscopic disc removal by anterior approach which is largest series fo...
We report a rare case of cervical spine trauma through a cervical disc replacement and adjacent multilevel disc fusions. Cervical disc replacement (CDR) is a viable option for the surgical treatment o...
To compare short-term clinical and radiological outcomes of anterior fusion-nonfusion hybrid surgery (cervical discectomy or corpectomy and fusion combine with cervical disc replacement) and posterior...
The aim of this study is to examine the clinical outcome after anterior cervical decompression and fusion, and cervical disc prostheses in general. Additionally these two surgical methods ...

This study is intended to demonstrate that the Simplify™ Disc is at least as safe and effective as conventional anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) when used to treat one leve...
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the SECURE®-C Cervical Artificial Disc for the treatment of symptomatic cervical disc disease at one level between ...
Patients with single-level cervical degenerative disc disease commonly undertook anterior discectomy. To compare the effect of anterior cervical discectomy without fusion (ACD), anterior c...
A network of nerve fibers originating in the upper four cervical spinal cord segments. The cervical plexus distributes cutaneous nerves to parts of the neck, shoulders, and back of the head, and motor fibers to muscles of the cervical spinal column, infrahyoid muscles, and the diaphragm.
A parameter usually used in PRENATAL ULTRASONOGRAPHY to measure the length of the uterine neck (CERVIX UTERI). Cervical length or its shortening is used to identify and prevent early cervical opening and PRETERM BIRTH.
The replacement of intervertebral discs in the spinal column with artificial devices. The procedure is done in the lumbar or cervical spine to relieve severe pain resulting from INTERVERTEBRAL DISC DEGENERATION.
