Summary of "Google Search Trends in psoriasis: a pilot evaluation of global population interests."

Our world is progressively more connected to the Internet. The analysis of Internet search trends could be useful to measure changes in the popularity, level of knowledge, concept or expectative of a disease. Google Trends quantifies the interest in topics at the population level by analyzing all search queries for a specific term (1,2).On this way we intend to carry out a pilot evaluation that allows us to know the main foci of interest of the patient or people living with psoriasis.
