Right-sided metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients have poor prognosis and achieve limited benefit from first-line doublets plus a targeted agent. In this unplanned analysis of the TRIBE study, we investigated the prognostic and predictive impact of primary tumor sidedness in mCRC patients and the differential impact of the intensification of the chemotherapy in subgroups defined according to both primary tumor sidedness and RAS and BRAF mutational status.

Conversion therapy can convert unresectable metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) into resectable. However, the optimal conversion regimen was not yet defined. This meta-analysis aimed to compare the ef...
Phase III trials have shown improved survival in ovarian cancer patients when the anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy bevacizumab is added to first-line chemotherapy. However, furth...
Several studies have suggested that primary tumor removal improved overall survival for patients with stage IV breast cancer. However, the survival benefit of local treatment remains controversial. Th...
The efficacy of therapeutic regimens incorporating weekly or every-3-weeks paclitaxel (PTX) for ovarian cancer is debated. We investigated the addition of bevacizumab in regimens of chemotherapy with ...
This study is to verify the advantage of FOLFOXIRI plus cetuximab over FOLFOXIRI plus bevacizumab as the first-line therapy in metastatic colorectal cancer patients with RAS wild-type tumo...

The purpose of this clinical trial is to primarily assess the efficacy of an intensified chemotherapy consisting of a combination of FOLFOXIRI + bevacizumab. The main focus will be laid on...
Most patients with mCRC are treated with palliative chemotherapy and only a small number of patients with limited metastatic disease achieve long-term remission following metastasectomy. T...
This single arm study will assess progression-free survival, feasibility of use and safety of Avastin in combination with 5-FU/FA, oxaliplatin and irinotecan (FOLFOXIRI) as first line trea...
Mucocellular carcinoma of the ovary, usually metastatic from the gastrointestinal tract, characterized by areas of mucoid degeneration and the presence of signet-ring-like cells. It accounts for 30%-40% of metastatic cancers to the ovaries and possibly 1%-2% of all malignant ovarian tumors. The lesions may not be discovered until the primary disease is advanced, and most patients die of their disease within a year. In some cases, a primary tumor is not found. A malignant tumor arising from the nuclear layer of the retina that is the most common primary tumor of the eye in children. The tumor tends to occur in early childhood or infancy and may be present at birth. The majority are sporadic, but the condition may be transmitted as an autosomal dominant trait. Histologic features include dense cellularity, small round polygonal cells, and areas of calcification and necrosis. An abnormal pupil reflex (leukokoria); NYSTAGMUS, PATHOLOGIC; STRABISMUS; and visual loss represent common clinical characteristics of this condition.
